Wedding photography for me, is about telling the story of your day as it truly happens. I work in a mostly documentary style, focusing on genuine moments, natural connections, and the atmosphere that makes your wedding unique.
I’ll stay out of the way for much of the day, allowing you to be present and enjoy every moment without feeling constantly photographed. When it’s time for portraits or group shots, I’ll step in with calm, simple direction to create clean, well composed images keeping things relaxed and efficient, never pulling you away from your day for longer than necessary.
The result is a balanced collection of photographs: honest, emotional moments alongside timeless portraits you’ll be proud to look back on.

Before the big day

What is your style?

Unobtrusive, relaxed, documentary style capturing candid moments without making it obvious to you friends and family.

Will you travel?

In short, (dependant on location), yes!

Are you insured?

Yes, I’m fully insured for both public liability & professional indemnity.

What equipment do you use?

I use professional camera bodies equipped with dual memory card slots (for instant back-up). Professional grade lenses & I also have a full editing studio with on-system, off-system & cloud back-ups to ensure the images from your day are totally safe & secure.

How do I book with Lee J Holt Photography?

Initially use our online contact form to book a consultation call, this is the first step in our journey together & also acts as a “getting to know you” call. Once you’re happy to go ahead, I send a standard contract confirming your reservation & once the reservation fee is paid, you are booked .

On the day

Can we request specific shots?

Don’t worry, we will discuss any must-have shots in our consultation meeting & revisit those closer to your big day just to ensure we haven’t missed anyone off the group shot lists.

Do you know the venue?

I always research your venue well before the event ensuring any special features/local backdrops that would add even more to your gallery.

What if it rains?

Rain doesn’t ruin photographs, it’s about you, the venue, the light & sometimes even using the rain to create a beautiful image.

After the wedding

How many images will I get?

Approximately 300 – 600 fully edited images from a full day wedding shoot .

Do you provide RAW images?

No, RAW files are essentially digital negatives, unprocessed, unrefined and don’t necessarily represent the moment as I saw it. They also require editing with professional equipment & software which is all part of the package.

When will I get my pictures?

A “Sneak-Peek” gallery of between 5-10 images will be produced within 48 hours of your wedding. Your full gallery would typically be ready within 6 weeks via online, password protected gallery.
