Telling the story

Events are all about energy, connection and storytelling. My approach is documentary-led, capturing what’s happening naturally while keeping an eye on the details that help to tell the full story.

I work discreetly, blending into the background to photograph key moments, speakers, performances, and interactions as they unfold. Whether it’s a corporate event, creative gathering, or private celebration, the focus is on delivering a professional set of images that genuinely reflect the feel and purpose of the event.

Corporate Events

Photography for corporate events can cover a wide range of formats and I’m capable of showing you at your best. Whether it’s a formal business meeting, an engaging exhibition or a more relaxed party, I excel at documenting the key moments that define your event. In more relaxed settings like charity balls, I focus on the joy and camaraderie among guests, every smile and shared laugh is preserved. My aim is to provide a visual narrative that reflects the atmosphere and significance of your gathering, creating lasting memories.

Sports Photography

Photographing sporting events is an exhilarating journey that encapsulates the essence of competition. Each click of the shutter immortalises a moment of victory, personal endeavour or the agony of defeat. I capture the raw emotions that unfold on the field. I try to ensure that every image tells a story of dedication and passion.

Festive Events

Capturing the magic of festive events is a true delight, whether it’s the warm glow of candlelit Christmas services, the exuberance of New Year celebrations, or the solemnity of religious gatherings. My aim is to encapsulate the fleeting moments, allowing you to relive the joy and connection that these special times bring. Let me help you create timeless memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Theatre and Performance

Photographing theatre productions, shows, concerts, and performances is an art that requires a keen eye and a deep understanding of the dynamics of live events. I excel at capturing those intense moments, emotions and energy during a performance. Tricky lighting conditions are taken care of often using the dramatic highlights to enhance the storytelling of the photography.

I regularly capture, edit & present over 200 – 300 images from corporate events such as company Summer Balls or Christmas parties. However, not all corporate commissions are parties so, it often depends on the brief and discussion with you the client to understand your expectations.

What is your style?

For corporate functions, unobtrusive, relaxed, documentary style capturing candid moments without becoming intrusive to the event. A more classic approach is more suited to corporate headshots so, I guess often “flexible” is a more accurate description.
